Full Job Description
Position Title: To Go Server
The To Go Server ensures all guests are provided with prompt and friendly service according to Kobe Japanese Steakhouse standards.
Work in a team-oriented, high-volume, fast-paced and guest-centric environment to provide guests with a smooth takeout experience. To Go Servers must be familiar with our menu and promotions and ensure all orders are accurate and packaged correctly to be given to our guests. To Go Server will prepare to go soup, salad and Kobe sauces and will be assigned additional side work. Servers are expected to keep the prep area clean and well organized. On top of taking to go orders on our company website, in-person and by phone, we also partner with Uber Eats and Door Dash.
Kobe adopts a tip sharing policy. Tips are paid bi-weekly through employee pay checks.
Requirements and Working Conditions:
Must be of legal age to serve alcohol (minimum 18 years old)
Knowledge of basic restaurant hospitality with service-minded attitude
Ability to work positively in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work effectively in a team
Responsible for side work as assigned and maintaining cleanliness
Ability to operate POS systems for transactions
Continuously standing, walking, bending, reaching, carrying and twisting and use of hands and arms
Obtain approved food handling training and state alcohol training required by local laws within 30 days of hire
